ABSTRACT

En este trabajo se presenta el desarrollo de un sistema que permite monitorear la actividad cardíaca a personas que necesitan observación continua. Dichos registros son observables con mínimo retardo respecto al momento en que suceden, siendo almacenados y enviados por medio de una conexión a internet al implementar la tecnología inalámbrica Zigbee. Se hizo uso del software Labview para procesar los datos a partir de la señal electrocardiográfica y se desarrolló una interfaz gráfica para visualizar las señales adquiridas. Luego del proceso de adquisición, aislamiento, filtrado análogo en el dispositivo portátil, transmisión inalámbrica y recepción por parte de un PC, se realiza el filtrado digital a la señal cardiaca adquirida para obtener la señal ECG filtrada en el PC local.


This work introduces the development of a system that allows to monitor cardiac activity in people who need this continually. Those records register a minimun rate of delay in terms of the moment they happen, and they are sent through the internet by using the wireless technology Zigbee. Labview software was used to process data from the electrocardiographic signal, and we developed a graphic interface to visualize the signals. After acquisition, isolation, analog filtering of the portable device, Wireless transmission and reception in a PC, we carried out a digital filtering for the cardiac signal to obtain a filtered ECG signal in the PC.


Neste trabalho, apresenta-se o desenvolvimento de um sistema que permite monitorar a atividade cardíaca de pessoas que precisam de observação permanente. Esses registros são observáveis com mínimo atraso a respeito do momento em que acontecem, sendo armazenados e enviados por meio de uma conexão de internet ao implantar a tecnologia sem fio Zigbee. Utilizou-se o software Labview para processar os dados a partir do sinal eletrocardiográfico e foi desenvolvida uma interface gráfica para visualizar os sinais adquiridos. Após o processo de aquisição, isolamento, filtro analógico no dispositivo portátil, transmissão sem fio e recepção por parte de um computador, foi realizada o filtro digital ao sinal cardíaco adquirido para obter o sinal ECG filtrado no computador local.

ABSTRACT

Muscle strength training plays an important role in improving limb movement function, preventing muscle atrophy and promoting muscle function recovery in patients with various bone and joint diseases. The sports function of elbow joint is closely related to people's daily life activity ability. At present, Chinese muscle strength training devices are depended on import. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop muscle strength training devices. Based on the concepts and characteristics of isometric training, isotonic training, passive training and isokinetic training, in the upper computer, the servo driver and servo motor are controlled through the LabView interface, and the real-time torque is detected by the torque sensor, realizing four training modes. The main parameters of the multi-mode elbow joint muscle strength training device meet the requirements, and the trainers have a good experience.

OBJECTIVE@#The study presents an experiment platform to perform ventilation and develop the control strategy for ventilator.@*METHODS@#The software designed by LabVEIW displays and saves data in ventilation support through connecting with data acquisition device and signal processing circuit, which is improved by control strategy in order to achieve the more scientific ventilation.@*RESULTS@#The experiment platform realizes the ventilation support and is close to the data outputted from ventilator.@*CONCLUSIONS@#The platform provides values for ventilation control strategy in development phase.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop a cellular shear stress loading system with an adjustable stress mode and relevant parameters, and subsequently verify the effectiveness and feasibility of this system. Methods The hardware of the system was developed by using a peristaltic pump and self-designed multi-channel flow chamber, and the mode control program of shear stress based on LabVIEW was designed to control the device via RS485 interfacing and Modbus protocol. Additionally, the relationship between the shear stress and system parameters was calibrated, and finite element analysis was also conducted. Finally, the feasibility of the system was confirmed via the in vitro cell experiment. Results The mode and magnitude of shear stress of the system could be controlled via either the peristaltic pump or computer, and the cellular long-term effect was also able to be detected. The calibration results of the system indicated that the level of shear stress exhibited significantly linear positive correlation with the revolution of the peristaltic pump (P<0.001). Finite element analysis demonstrated that the level of shear stress on the slide was uniformly distributed and the result of simulation was accordant with calibration. Cytoskeleton staining suggested that cellular morphology of MLO-Y4 cells was changed, and microfilament increased and arrayed along fluid flow direction. Conclusion The system is stable and reliable enough to provide different loading modes and magnitude of cellular shear stress to offer a convictive platform of the research for different cellular stress signal transduction mecha-nisms.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a virtual ECG monitor system based on LabVIEW software and ECG hardware.Methods The ECG sensor from Vernier company and NI ELVIS were used as the signal acquisition platform.The modules of signal acquisition and procession,characteristic parameters extraction and report output were designed with graphical programming language on LabVIEW platform.Results The virtual ECG monitor system could implement reading,procession,analysis,report output by the computer,and individual differences in ECG analysis could be eliminated.Conclusion The system have advantages in easy operation,low cost,multi purposes and etc,and thus it is valuable for the development of miniature andintelligent multiphysiological parameters detection systems.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To research a fast-implementation method of correlation dimension of ECG signal base on LabVIEW.Methods: In this paper, acquisition ,display and processing of ECG signal were implemented through applied PCI-6023E as hardware and applied graphical programming language LabVIEW as development software. And then through software programming to realize fast calculation for correlation dimension of ECG signal.Results: This method was used to analyze and calculate the correlation dimension of ECG between patients with coronary heart disease and healthy people. And the experiment indicated that it can fast and reliably calculate the correlation dimension, and the correlation dimension of patients with coronary heart disease was obviously lower than that of healthy people.Conclusion: The correlation dimension system of ECG signal based on LabVIEW can realize the fast calculation of correlation dimension of ECG signal, and solve the two problems that heart rate variability (HRV) information are difficultly extracted from ECG signal and the extracted useful information are inadequate. Therefore, it provides important reference information for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveIn this paper a new application of LABVIEW in neural electrophysiological simulation was applied to simulate axonal excitability.MethodsA variety of axonal excitability of the squid giant axon was modeled with LABVIEW,including action potential threshold,refractoriness,temporal summation,anode break excitation,repetitive firing and conduction velocity.ResultsThe LABVIEW program accurately described the permeability changes of Na+ and K+ and their effects on the action potential,and the membrane excitability had been well predicted.ConclusionThe graphical programming language of LABVIEW allows the user to complete the programming by dragging and dropping icons and connecting wires,the users can quickly and easily construct their own biological research systems.

ABSTRACT

This paper introduces an ECG real time monitoring system based on LabVIEW.With Wavelet transformation,the original ECG signals are processed to increase the accuracy of R peak detection.The feature of real time in this system is ensured by the application of simplified algorithm.The result panel offers various types of HRV information in time domain,including numerical and graphical displays which make the data more intuitional and more convenient to obtain.The system runs well in lab and the result is acceptable.

ABSTRACT

This paper gives a general introduction to the application of virtual instrument technique to the sampling of ECG. MATLAB is called to realize HRV quantitative analysis and intelligentized analysis through LabVIEW. The experiment results show the reliability of HRV analyses. So, LabVIEW-based HRV analyses can be applied to early diagnoses, monitoring and prognostic assessments of some diseases and to detecting the balance condition of automatic nervous system.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design and develop a kind of SpO2 detection and analysis system based on LabVIEW. Methods Pulse signal process and SpO2 calculation were achieved by designing a control system based on TI Company's MSP430FG439 MCU and using the digital signal process and graphic controls of the LabVIEW software. The design project and the realization way were given out by discussing the software of LabVIEW. Results The system could acquire, display and process pulse signal and calculate SpO2. Conclusion The system carries out a new way to design medical monitor equipment. Furthermore, it provides a shortcut for special analysis of the SpO2 and pulse signal in clinic.

ABSTRACT

The ability to map and ablate the sometimes fleeting automatic atrial tachycardia is greatly enhanced by computerized mapping systems. In this study, we have developed 128 channel computerized data analysis system using microcomputer for basic research of electrophysiology and electrical propagation. The bipolar electrogram information is acquired from 128 cardiac sites simultaneously at a sampling rate of 1 ksampls/sec with continuous and total data storage of up to 30 seconds. When the reference electrogram is selected and reference point is picked up, delay time from the reference point is displayed on three dimensional diagram of the heart. System design permits easy expansion to almost 256 simul- taneous sites. This system is expected to enable us to study pathophysiology of cardiac arrhythmia and to improve the result of diagnosis and surgical treatment for cardiac arrhythmia.

With the system, the following can be available including eight-channel low-frequency signals, eight options on programmable magnification, 1000Hz low-pass filter, 50Hz power-frequency trap, and A/D and D/A conversion.
